Rangoli 2017

Indian Association Wettingen (IAW) organized the “Rangoli 2017 (Celebrating India)” event on 2nd December 2017.  The event was held at the Aula in Berufschule BBB, Baden, from 16:00 to 21:00.  The event showcased cultural diversity and talent of the Indian community. Many delightful dances, musicals, and plays were performed by kids as well as adults in large numbers.

The hallmark of the “Rangoli 2017 (Celebrating India)” event was the inauguration of IAW by the honorable chief guests Mrs. Vijaya Rao and Mr. Anton Tönz. Later the mission, vision, and 2018 roadmap of IAW were presented by IAW’s president Mr. Mohamed Vasim. Besides, it was announced that there are already 100 active IAW members within a span of few weeks, since the official registration of IAW.

Furthermore, education sponsorships from IAW for three children of Balagurukulam orphanage, India, were also announced. The event ended with a dainty Indian buffet. The night ended with DJ playing the latest Indian music and bringing everyone together on the dancefloor to celebrate. It was an event to cherish for all the participants. On behalf of IAW, a big thanks to all who took part in the “Rangoli 2017 (Celebrating India)” event.
